In the first few days of the Kwame Kilpatrick corruption trial, jurors heard startling testimony about grant money that was paid to Carlita Kilpatrick and Bobby Ferguson that was supposed to go towards programs to help kids and seniors. Christy, Nolan, and Stephen ask whether or not the public will continue to be glued to reports of the testimony as the trial continues. It’s been six weeks since L. Brooks Patterson was in a serious car accident. With the longtime county executive recovering quietly, Oakland County Democrats have begun to question whether or not Patterson is up to the job of running the county. Nolan sat down with Patterson for his first extensive interview since the accident. He gives us the highlights.
